In high temperature industries such as aerospace engine manufacturing, metallurgy and other fields, the high temperature resistance of materials is very high. Ceramic matrix composites stand out for their excellent high temperature resistance, high strength and oxidation resistance. An aero engine manufacturing enterprise has successfully applied ceramic matrix composite materials to engine hot end components. In the high temperature environment, the material can withstand the high temperature of more than 1500℃, and maintain good mechanical properties, compared with the traditional superalloy material, its high temperature resistance is greatly improved. This makes the engine significantly more efficient, while extending the service life of the engine and reducing maintenance costs. By continuously optimizing the composite process of ceramics and fibers and adding special reinforcement phases, researchers have further improved the toughness and reliability of ceramic matrix composites. The breakthrough of ceramic matrix composite materials has injected a strong impetus into the development of high temperature industry, and is expected to promote related industries to achieve more innovation in the field of high temperature technology.
